In these terms and conditions, ‘Maquettshop’ refers to the online shop of Raboesch Models B.V., with its registered office at Schepenveld 18, 3891 ZK Zeewolde, registered with the Chamber of Commerce under number 56629125 and VAT number NL852224783B01.
The term ‘customer’ refers to any natural person or legal entity that enters into a contract with Maquettshop or places an order.
Article 2 — Scope of application
These general terms and conditions apply to every offer made by Maquettshop and to every contract entered into between Maquettshop and the customer.
Before the contract is concluded, the text of these general terms and conditions will be made available to the customer. Any deviations from these terms and conditions are valid only if they have been agreed in writing.
Article 3 — The Offer
The offer contains as complete and accurate a description as possible of the products on offer.
Images, colours, dimensions and other specifications are intended to provide as realistic a representation of the product as possible. Minor discrepancies do not constitute grounds for compensation, termination of the contract or any other claims.
Obvious errors, printing errors, typographical errors or pricing errors in the offer are not binding on Maquettshop.
Article 4 — Formation of the contract
The contract is concluded once the customer has placed an order and Maquettshop has confirmed this order by email.
Maquettshop reserves the right to refuse an order or to impose additional conditions where there are grounds to do so, for example if a product turns out to be unavailable or if there is an obvious error in the offer.
Article 5 — Prices and payment
All prices quoted are in euros and include VAT, unless otherwise stated.
Delivery charges are calculated for each order based on weight and destination. The customer will receive a non-binding quote for these charges during the ordering process. The contract is only finalised once the customer has agreed to the delivery charges quoted.
Payment must be made using the payment methods offered by Maquettshop. Orders will be processed once full payment has been received.
Article 6 — Delivery and performance
Maquettshop processes and dispatches orders within 3 working days of receiving payment.
The delivery times stated are indicative. If a delivery time is exceeded, this does not entitle the customer to compensation or to terminate the contract.
The risk of loss or damage to the products passes to the customer at the moment the order is delivered to the specified delivery address.
Maquettshop delivers worldwide.
Article 7 — Right of withdrawal
The consumer has the right to withdraw from a contract within 14 days of receipt without giving any reason.
For the terms and conditions, exceptions, returns procedure, returns costs and refunds, Maquettshop refers you to the separate delivery and returns policy, which forms an integral part of these terms and conditions.
Article 8 — Conformity and warranty
Maquettshop guarantees that the products supplied comply with the terms of the contract, the stated specifications and the relevant legal requirements.
Customers are asked to check the products immediately upon receipt and to report any defects or discrepancies to Maquettshop as soon as possible.
The warranty does not cover damage caused by incorrect use, normal wear and tear, improper handling or modifications made by the customer or third parties.
Article 9 — Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Maquettshop’s liability is limited to the amount of the order in question.
Maquettshop shall not be liable for indirect damage, consequential damage, loss of profit, lost savings or damage arising from the incorrect use of the products supplied.
This limitation does not apply if the damage is the result of wilful misconduct or gross negligence on the part of Maquettshop.
Article 10 — Retention of title
All products supplied remain the property of Maquettshop until the customer has fully met all payment obligations arising from the contract.
Article 11 — Force majeure
Maquettshop shall not be obliged to fulfil any obligation if it is prevented from doing so by force majeure.
Force majeure includes, amongst other things: disruptions affecting suppliers, transport problems, strikes, fire, government measures, pandemics, natural disasters, internet or power failures, and other circumstances over which Maquettshop has no reasonable control.
In the event of force majeure, Maquettshop’s obligations shall be suspended. If the force majeure situation lasts longer than might reasonably be expected, both parties shall be entitled to terminate the agreement in whole or in part without any entitlement to compensation.
Article 12 — Intellectual property
All text, images, photographs, product descriptions, logos, designs and other content on the Maquettshop website are the property of Maquettshop or its licensors.
It is not permitted to copy, publish or otherwise use this material, in whole or in part, without prior written consent.

We aim to provide a substantive response to every complaint within 14 days of receipt. If more time is needed to deal with a complaint, we will inform the customer of this within this period.
Article 14 — Governing law
All contracts between Maquettshop and the customer are governed exclusively by Dutch law.
Disputes shall be brought before the competent court in the Netherlands, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.

1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device when you visit our website. They ensure that the website functions properly and help us to improve it.
2. What cookies do we use?
Functional cookies — essential for the online shop to function, such as remembering your shopping basket and preferences. These cookies are required for the website to work properly.
Analytical cookies — we use only privacy-friendly analytical cookies to gain an understanding of how our website is used and to improve it. The data collected is anonymised and cannot be traced back to individual visitors.
We do not use marketing or tracking cookies that track your browsing behaviour across different websites.
3. Manage cookies
You can configure your browser so that it no longer stores cookies or so that certain cookies are blocked. Please note that disabling functional cookies may result in parts of the online shop not working properly.
4. Changes
We may amend this cookie policy from time to time if our website or legislation requires us to do so. The most recent version is always available on this page.
We will process and dispatch your order within 3 working days of receiving your payment. As soon as your order has been dispatched, you will receive confirmation by email. We deliver worldwide.
2. Delivery charges
Our range comprises a wide variety of products in different sizes and weights, and we deliver worldwide. For this reason, delivery charges are calculated for each order based on weight and destination. You can easily request a quote for delivery charges at the checkout, and you’ll receive a no-obligation quote within one working day.
3. Delivery time
Delivery times vary depending on the country and carrier. For the Netherlands and Belgium, you can expect an additional 1 to 3 working days. For other countries in Europe, this usually varies between 3 and 7 working days. Outside Europe, delivery times may be longer.
4. Collection
Collection is available by appointment during office hours (Mon–Fri 08:00–17:00). Please select ‘collection’ at checkout or contact us at contact@maquett.nl.
5. Cancellation period
You have the right to return your order within 14 days of receipt without giving a reason.
We ask that you return the products in their original packaging wherever possible. Damage to the packaging or the product may result in a reduction in value. If there is a reduction in value because the product or packaging has been damaged beyond what is necessary for assessing the product, we may deduct this reduction in value from the amount to be refunded.
6. Register a return
Returns must always be notified in advance via contact@maquett.nl, quoting the order number. Once you have notified us, you will receive the return instructions. Returns sent without prior notification cannot be processed immediately and may result in delays in processing.
7. Return costs
The cost of returning a product is borne by the customer, unless the product is damaged or has been delivered incorrectly. In the latter case, we will cover the return costs. The cost of a return shipment is usually comparable to the original delivery charges, but may vary depending on the carrier and destination.
If you received free delivery because your order exceeded the threshold (€75 in the Netherlands, €150 in Belgium and Germany), we have in fact incurred those delivery costs. In the event of a return, these actual postage costs will be deducted from the amount you are due a refund for. Would you like to know the exact amount in advance? Please ask us before placing your order or before arranging a return.
You can also choose to arrange the return yourself using a carrier of your choice. In that case, we will not charge any return costs and you will receive a full refund. Please keep your proof of dispatch until the refund has been processed.
8. Refunds
Once we have received and checked the returned products, we will refund the purchase price within 14 days using the same payment method. Delivery charges for the original order will be refunded if the return is complete.
If delivery was free due to the order value, no delivery charges were incurred that can be refunded. The delivery charges we incurred for that parcel will be deducted from the refund amount in the event of a return — unless the product was damaged or incorrectly delivered, or you arranged the return yourself.
9. Exceptions
Bespoke products and items with non-standard lengths or dimensions are excluded from the right of withdrawal, as these have been manufactured specifically for the customer. For safety and quality reasons, opened paint and adhesive cannot be returned. Second-hand products are also excluded from the right of withdrawal.
10. Damaged or incorrectly delivered
Please check your order as soon as possible after receipt. Has your order arrived damaged, or have you received the wrong product? If so, please contact us within 7 days via contact@maquett.nl and, if possible, include some photos. We will then find a suitable solution.
11. Items that are out of stock
In the unlikely event that an item you have ordered turns out to be out of stock, we will contact you as soon as possible. You can then choose an alternative product, a later delivery or a refund of the amount already paid. If this results in the entire order being cancelled, any delivery charges paid will also be refunded.
12. Incorrect delivery address
The customer is responsible for entering the delivery address correctly. If an order cannot be delivered due to an incorrect or incomplete address, the costs of any subsequent delivery will be borne by the customer.
13. Cancelling an order
An order can be cancelled free of charge as long as it has not yet been processed for dispatch. Once a dispatch label has been created or the order has been prepared for dispatch, cancellation is no longer possible. In that case, the order can be returned upon receipt in accordance with the right of withdrawal.
